The Blue Day Will Rise Again
This was made by a man for his fiancée.
An aspiring writer, for an anniversary present she had written him an adventure story about the two of them in a helicopter. He loved it so much he wanted to do something similarly creative for her birthday. I asked if maybe he wanted to make an image that would go with the story and he thought that was a great idea---he even let me read the story! After sitting with it a while, I made this.
He said it was more than he could have hoped for and captured the feeling of the story perfectly.
The title of this image is borrowed from the title of her story.
The Buddha and the Mouse
This beautiful work was made by a young woman for her best friend.
She shared with me key points in their relationship history and what type of images she was hoping to create. Her friend is a Zen Buddhist and she hoped that I could use some symbolism or imagery from that spiritual philosophy. After a a couple rounds of images, I found out that her friend's childhood nickname was Mouse---and the whole thing came together. I think it is gorgeous!

The Fox in the Hall &
The Wolf in the Hall
These pieces were made by a huge MC Escher fan.
This person had hoped to make an Escher-like piece themselves, using one of the Ai art generators, but found it more difficult than they originally assumed. (I reassured them that Escher was actually quite a difficult artist to reference; but that I had already spent many many hours working on prompts for this artist!) They ended up selecting two images to hang together!
Per's Artichokes
I have a friend in Sweden who made this image. He loves my work and wanted to try out the custom work co-creative process. He told me he loved my artichoke art and he loved it when there was something that "tricks the eye". He was referring to instances when the Ai creates an image that looks correct until, upon closer inspection, there is an anomaly. He chose this image both for the beautiful still life and for the knife.

Bridge of Dreams
I had a client who had previously purchased one of my Golden Gate Bridge images, want to have a Bridge made just for them. They didn't have anything specific in mind, which gave me a chance to really explore with one of my favorite subjects in the world! They had A LOT to chose from in the end (lol) and this was their favorite. I love it!
Cheers!
A while back I made a series of coffee cups with wings. A customer messaged me asking if I could do the same thing with a glass a champagne? Of course! They gave me a description of the details they wanted and I got to work. Unexpectedly, this process took longer than I thought. We went back and forth several times until she found one that was perfect.
I will always do whatever it takes! She loves this one because of the detail in the wings and the liquid gold--and I agree!
Happy 2023!!

Tiger in a Tree!
This image makes me smile every time I look at it.
Not all of these artwork stories are mine to tell--and this one was very personal to my client. All I'll say is that it was a gift from a father to his daughter and that she now has it framed in her living room!
Oryn Wisefeather
I've had more than a few people ask if I could make their Dungeons & Dragons character...
There is no tougher challenge than an established DnD character!
Most of these characters have been thought-out it great detail over a period of years... Here is one of the very successful ones I accomplished: Oryn Wisefeather.
I am safe for now.

The Zephyrous Sea
A woman recently married, found herself, in less than a year, very ill -- she was diagnosed with multiple medical challenges and went from being very active to needing a wheelchair outside of the house. Her husband has been completely supportive and does everything he can to help her. The sister of husband wanted to give the couple something special for their wedding anniversary. We decided this was perfect.
Jen and Hen Save the World
Jen, an accomplished skier, is a statistician for a national lab in the US. Hen is her faithful dog (Henrietta). Together they are making the world a better place through the power of MATH!
These were the details I was given to make this image and I have to say it is one of my favorites!

Jessi and Katsu
When I made this I started to truly understand how many people would love pictures of themselves and their pets.
I made this for the birthday of a dear friend and everyone agrees that it really captures the essence of the love and devotion between Jessi and Katsu; they true soul mates. Can you guess who is who?
